MEGA 200 MAX - 200 Watt 24 Volt Solar Panel

This is the 24-volt version of the MEGA 200. Same 200 watts, same physical size as the 12V model, but it puts out 36.3V at only 5.51 amps instead of 18.4V at 10.9 amps. On a 24V or 48V battery bank, or on any run where the wire between array and controller is long, that halved current is the whole point: thinner cable, smaller fuses, less voltage drop.

Why this panel

• Sixty N-Type TOPCon cells with 18 busbars, rated up to 25.3% efficiency, which is a step above the PERC cells common at this price.
• Open-circuit voltage is 43.5V, so check your charge controller's maximum input before stringing several in series.
• Guaranteed output tolerance of 0 to +5W, meaning the panel meets or beats its label.
• N-Type cells degrade more slowly than P-Type and hold up better at high cell temperatures, which matters on a black RV roof in summer.
• 3.2 mm anti-reflective tempered glass over an anodized aluminum frame, rated to 5400 Pa snow and 2400 Pa wind.
• PID-resistant construction with 100% electroluminescence inspection to screen out microcracks before shipping.
• Certified to UL 61730, IEC 61215 and CSA C22.2.
• Dawn, dusk and overcast output is better than older cell chemistries, but no panel makes rated power without sun.

Mounting and wiring

• Fourteen pre-drilled frame holes fit Z-brackets, tilt mounts, pole mounts or ground racking.
• Pre-attached 12 AWG leads, 3 ft each, with MC4 connectors.
• IP67 junction box and connectors handle rain, spray and washdowns.
• Suitable for off-grid and grid-tie inverters alike; fuse at 15A maximum in series strings.
