MEGA 100 Portable Briefcase Charging Kit - 100 Watt 12 Volt Portable Solar Panel Kit

This is the MEGA 100 briefcase panel with a waterproof 10A charge controller already wired to it. If you are charging a 12V battery directly, that controller is the part you would otherwise have to buy separately, and it is what separates this kit from the panel-only version. Unfold it, set the kickstands, clip the leads to the battery, and it works.

Why this kit

• The included 10A PWM controller is potted and weatherproof, so it can live outside with the panel rather than needing a dry mounting spot.

Setup

• Unfold, extend the kickstands, and aim the face at the sun. Re-aim every few hours for best output.
• Five-foot 12 AWG leads with MC4 connectors run from panel to controller.
• Controller output connects to a 12V lead-acid, AGM or lithium battery. Check your lithium BMS charge profile before connecting.
• Fold flat and stow when you break camp; the frame protects the glass but the panel is not meant to be walked on.
