A 12-volt, 100Ah lithium battery with built-in heating and Bluetooth
The ALPHA 1 is Rich Solar's 12.8V 100Ah LiFePO₄ battery. It stores 1,280Wh, is rated for 5,000+ cycles at 80% depth of discharge, and supports up to 100A of continuous discharge.
A built-in 100W heater lets it charge in freezing weather, and Bluetooth monitoring in the RICH SOLAR app shows state of charge, voltage, current and temperature. Up to four batteries can run in parallel for RVs, boats, cabins and off-grid systems.
Internal heating in low temperatures
A built-in 100W heater warms the cells so the battery can charge safely in freezing weather.
- Charging pauses below 32°F (0°C)
- Heating starts below 41°F (5°C)
- Heating stops above 50°F (10°C)
Bluetooth battery monitoring
Track state of charge, voltage, current, temperature and remaining capacity in the RICH SOLAR app for iOS and Android.
- Quick pairing by scanning the battery's barcode
- Turn the battery on or off from your phone
BMS safeguards every charge
A built-in BMS guards against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuits and temperature extremes, and balances the cells.
- UN 38.3 and MSDS certified
- UL94 V-0 flame-retardant housing
- IP65 waterproof construction
Premium A+ grade cells
EV-grade LiFePO₄ cells are rated for 5,000+ cycles at 80% depth of discharge, with no maintenance.
- Up to 4 batteries in parallel
- 5% or less self-discharge per month
- 5-year prorated warranty
Three ways to charge
Rich Solar's estimated charge times:
- LiFePO4 charger: about 6 hours at 14.4V 20A (0.2C)
- Solar: about 1 sunny day with more than 400W of panels
- Generator: about 6 hours through a 20A DC-DC charger
