ALPHA 3 - 12V 300Ah LiFePO4 Battery

Three hundred amp-hours at 12V in a single case - roughly 3,840Wh. This is the size you reach for when a 200Ah battery keeps running out overnight and you would rather not manage a parallel bank of two.

Why this battery

• 300Ah of LiFePO4 storage in one enclosure, so one set of cables, one fuse and one battery monitor covers the whole bank.
• Rated for 5,000+ lifetime cycles.
• Internal heating so the battery keeps accepting a charge in cold weather instead of locking out until spring. The ALPHA 3 LITE below it does not have this.
• Bluetooth module built in - battery status reads on your phone in real time rather than through a separate shunt.
• IP65 rated against water and dust, in a UL94 V-0 flame-retardant plastic shell.
• Rich Solar states the ALPHA 3 has passed extreme-performance safety testing against fire, explosion and leakage. That is their claim and their testing, not an independent listing - if you need third-party certification, the ALPHA 2 PRO is the UL1973-listed option, though at 200Ah rather than 300Ah.

Installation

• Charge on a LiFePO4 profile. Rich Solar does not state charge voltage, charge current, weight or case dimensions in page text for the ALPHA 3, so pull those from the specification PDF before you size a controller or cut a battery box.
• At 300Ah this is a heavy battery - plan the lift and the mounting before it arrives.
• The heating element is automatic; no external control needed.
• Pair the Bluetooth module before the battery is boxed in.

Warranty

• Covered by Rich Solar's limited warranty. No 10-year term is published for the ALPHA 3 as it is for the PRO models - ask us to confirm the current term before ordering.
• California Proposition 65 warning applies: this product can expose you to chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm.
