MEGA 200 Portable Briefcase Solar Panel - 200 Watt 12 Volt Portable Solar Panel

The same 200-watt folding briefcase panel as our charging kit, supplied without a charge controller. That is the right choice when the thing you are charging already has solar regulation built in, which covers most portable power stations and solar generators, and any RV that already has a controller on the wall.

Why this panel

• 18.4V at maximum power, 10.9A, 22.2V open circuit. Check the 22.2V figure against your power station's solar input range before ordering.
• Tempered glass on an aluminum frame with corner protection, because portable panels get handled far more than roof panels.
• IP67-rated junction box and connectors handle rain and dew.
• Built-in kickstands set the tilt angle. Aiming the panel is the cheapest performance upgrade there is.
• Folds to 33.1 x 26.4 x 2.4 in and weighs 26 lb. It opens to nearly 4.5 feet wide, so give it room.
• Buy the Briefcase Charging Kit version instead if you are connecting straight to a bare 12V battery.

Setup

• Unfold, deploy the kickstands and face the sun; reposition through the day for best yield.
• Five-foot 12 AWG leads end in MC4 connectors. Most power stations need an MC4 adapter to XT60, Anderson or 8mm, and that adapter is not included.
• Fold and latch before transport. The frame protects the glass, but the panel should not be stacked under heavy gear.
