Inverter Remote Control with Smart LCD Display — Exclusive for Nova Pure Series

The remote panel for Rich Solar's NOVA PURE inverters. It ships with a 19.7-foot shielded RJ45 cable, which is the practical point: you can put the inverter in a battery box or under a bench and still read voltage, output power, battery state and load from a panel where you actually sit.

What it does

• Backlit LCD showing inverter voltage, output power, battery status and load in real time.
• Symbol-based fault alerts, so a problem shows as an icon rather than a code you have to look up.
• Raised tactile buttons that you can work by feel, which matters in a dark van or a moving boat.
• Wired rather than wireless. Rich Solar's stated reason is interference immunity, and for a fixed installation that is a fair trade - nothing to pair and nothing to lose connection with.
• Small enough to fit almost anywhere: 3.68 x 2.22 x 0.73 inches, flush-mounted on two screws at 3.01-inch spacing.

Compatibility - read this first

• Works with five NOVA PURE inverters: RS-V1P12, RS-V2P12, RS-V3P12, RS-V2P24 and RS-V3P24.
• It will not work with NOVA SWITCH or NOVA SUPERCHARGER inverters. Those use a different panel with an RJ12 connector - the RS-RM02 or RS-RM03.
• Worth knowing: Rich Solar's own product pages for the NOVA PURE 2K, 3K and MAX models state that the series includes a remote control, yet this remote is also sold on its own. We have not been able to confirm from published material whether the bundled remote is this same unit. If you are buying this as your only remote, ask us to check what is in the inverter box first - you may not need it.

Installation

• Cut a flush opening for the 93.5 x 56.5 mm body and drill two 6.5 mm holes 76.5 mm apart.
• Plug the supplied 6-metre RJ45 lead into the inverter's remote port. No configuration required.
• Rich Solar directs installers to the inverter's own manual for the setup sequence rather than publishing separate instructions with the remote.
