Inverter Remote Control with LCD & Bluetooth - Bypass Mode & Smart Charging

A flush-mount control panel that puts your inverter's readouts and settings somewhere you can actually reach. It connects over a single RJ12 cable and works only with Rich Solar's NOVA SWITCH and NOVA SUPERCHARGER inverters - if you own a NOVA PURE, this is not the right remote and you want the RS-RM01 instead.

What it does

• Backlit LCD showing voltage, current, load and battery status live, so you are not crouching at the inverter with a torch to read a fault code.
• Bluetooth to the RICH SOLAR app for changing modes and adjusting settings from a phone.
• Bypass mode, which keeps critical loads powered if the inverter itself faults.
• Charge profile selection for AGM, lithium, or a user-defined battery - worth having if your bank is anything other than what the inverter ships configured for.
• Three-way fault notification: dual-colour LED, an audible buzzer, and a numeric fault code.

Fitting it

• Panel is 5.4 x 3.4 x 1.3 inches. Cut-out is 4.3 x 2.3 inches with a recess depth of 1.97 inches, so check you have two clear inches behind the wall before you cut.
• RJ12 plug-and-play connection to the inverter. Flame-retardant ABS housing rated by Rich Solar for vibration and shock.
• Compatible only with the NOVA SWITCH and NOVA SUPERCHARGER series. It will not drive a NOVA PURE, NOVA MAX or hybrid unit.

Worth knowing before you buy

• Rich Solar's marketing for this panel mentions support for solar PV, grid and battery inputs across off-grid, hybrid and grid-tied systems. That describes what the host inverter can do, not a capability the remote adds. The remote displays and controls; it does not change what your inverter is.
• Compare it with the RS-RM02, which is only about eight dollars cheaper here. That one fits the same cut-out but drops Bluetooth and app control, drops bypass mode and charge-profile selection, and reads voltage and load only rather than current and battery status as well. For the small difference in price, this panel is the more capable of the two.
• Rich Solar publishes no shipping weight for this item, so freight is quoted at our discretion rather than calculated.
