Returns & refunds
Request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be new, unused, not installed, and in their original packaging.

- For a change-of-mind return, you pay return shipping and a 15% restocking fee is deducted from your refund.

A 45W hood solar panel made for the Jeep JT Gladiator & JL Wrangler Rubicon
Lensun's 45W hood solar panel is cut to fit the hood of the Jeep JT Gladiator & JL Wrangler Rubicon (2020–present). It charges the vehicle battery, an auxiliary battery or a portable power station whenever the Jeep is parked in daylight.
The ultra-thin panel uses solar cells rated at 25% efficiency under a low-glare ETFE surface and stays permanently installed, with no daily setup. Buy the panel alone, or add Lensun's 10A waterproof MPPT controller, a custom vinyl decal, or both.

What warranty comes with Lensun flexible and hood panels?
Lensun covers its products with a 24-month (2-year) workmanship warranty for the original buyer. Lensun also rates its solar cells to produce at least 90% of nominal power after 10 years and 80% after 25 years.
How is a flexible panel mounted?
Lensun recommends bonding the back of the panel with a silicone structural adhesive such as Sikaflex 252. On a hood, Lensun highly recommends its custom vinyl decal between the panel and the paint to protect the finish.
Will it work on cloudy days?
Yes, but it produces less. Lensun says a panel under a light overcast sky may produce about half as much as in full sun.
Why does shade matter so much?
The cells in a panel are wired together, so every cell needs full sun for the panel to work at its best. If any part of the panel is shaded, the output of the whole panel drops.
