Two 200W flexible panels (400W) for roof-top tents
This Lensun set gives you two 200W flexible panels (400W total) for a roof-top tent. Each panel uses 18BB N-type cells rated at 25% efficiency under a self-cleaning ETFE film, with a 9-layer monolithic lamination that includes two layers of aerospace-grade window film.
Each panel weighs 6.4 lb (2.9 kg) and measures 43.7 × 34.9 in. Mount them with VHB tape or a structural adhesive such as Sikaflex 552. Buy the panels alone, or add Lensun's Y connectors and 16 ft (5 m) cable, its 40A waterproof MPPT controller, or both.

N-type solar cells
Advanced 18BB N-type cells rated at 25% efficiency deliver more power from the same size and reduce hot spots and micro-cracks.
- Twin-array design keeps working in partial shade
- Self-cleaning ETFE film with high light transmittance

9-layer monolithic lamination
Nine materials laminated into one seamless piece, including two layers of aerospace-grade window film, shield the cells from vibration, impact and thermal stress.
- Protects cells from hail, heavy snow and high winds
- Built for off-road and overland use

Light enough for a roof tent
Each 200W panel weighs 6.4 lb (2.9 kg), about 30% of a glass-panel equivalent, which helps fuel economy and keeps the center of gravity low.
- 43.7 × 34.9 in (1110 × 886 mm) per panel

Install with tape or adhesive
Mount the panels with VHB double-sided tape (sold separately) or an automotive-grade structural adhesive such as Sikaflex 552, Sika 554 or Fix8.
- Optional Y connectors and 16 ft (5 m) cable link the two panels
- Optional 40A waterproof MPPT controller, pre-wired with fuses

Questions about the Lensun 400W (2 × 200W) Flexible Solar Panel for Roof-Top Tents
Answers from Lensun Solar's published product information.
What warranty comes with Lensun flexible and hood panels?
Lensun covers its products with a 24-month (2-year) workmanship warranty for the original buyer. Lensun also rates its solar cells to produce at least 90% of nominal power after 10 years and 80% after 25 years.
How is a flexible panel mounted?
Lensun recommends bonding the back of the panel with a silicone structural adhesive such as Sikaflex 252. On a hood, Lensun highly recommends its custom vinyl decal between the panel and the paint to protect the finish.
Will it work on cloudy days?
Yes, but it produces less. Lensun says a panel under a light overcast sky may produce about half as much as in full sun.
Why does shade matter so much?
The cells in a panel are wired together, so every cell needs full sun for the panel to work at its best. If any part of the panel is shaded, the output of the whole panel drops.
Can I walk on a flexible panel?
Lensun doesn't recommend it. Walking on the panel can damage the cells and solder joints inside.
